QuickBooks POS: Print Tags from Price Change

So today we’re going to talk about how to print tags when you have changed the price of your items or maybe even your entire department prices. Before we do that, let’s also include on how to change the price in QuickBooks Point of Sale. Let’s start:

  1. For changing the price, go to “Inventory” menu then click on “Price Manager”.
  1. On the Price Manager window, click on “Make Price Changes”.
  1. Enter a name for the description of your Price Change and select “Regular Price” for the Price level.
  1. Then select the items that are going to have its price changed. For this guide, we’re going to select Department.
  1. On this window, select the items by department are you going to add to the price change. For this guide, we’re going to add Shirts.
  1. For this window, select on the options that you want to change the price. Once finished, click on “Finish” to calculate the new price change on the selected items.
  1. You will get this window after calculating the price change. On the lower right side of the screen, click on “Apply Price Changes to Inventory”. A pop-up window will appear, just select “Apply Price Changes to Inventory”.
  1. After applying the changes to your inventory, re open the price change that we made.
  1. Now for printing tags, select all the items added to the price change by selecting the first item then hold “Shift” key then click on the last item. Then click on “Print” then select “Print Inventory Tags”.
  1. Select the “Selected — Print only the selected items” under the Print section and “On hand quantities” under Copies section. Also select what template you are going to print your tags on. Then click on “Print”.
