QuickBooks POS: Import Print Designer Templates
Today we are going to show you how to import a template into the print designer. You can do this for any type of template that’s in the print designer. Today we are importing templates in labels. Let’s begin:
- On your “File” menu, go to “Tools” then select “Print Designer”.
- On your Print Designer screen choose a document type in “Select a Document Type” (for example, you choose Inventory tags). Then select “Import and Export” button.
- Choose “Import” then select “Next”.
- Go to the folder where you save the template. Select the template then select “Open”.
- A notification screen will appear. Select “Close”.
- On your Print Designer, go back to the document you choose. You will see that there is a new icon on your Available Templates which means that it’s a User Modified Document Template that’s because we made modifications to this template before.
- We have now successfully imported a template in our Print designer. It’s now ready to use.
