QuickBooks POS: Import Print Designer Templates

Today we are going to show you how to import a template into the print designer. You can do this for any type of template that’s in the print designer. Today we are importing templates in labels. Let’s begin:

  1. On your “File” menu, go to “Tools” then select “Print Designer”.
  2. On your Print Designer screen choose a document type in “Select a Document Type” (for example, you choose Inventory tags). Then select “Import and Export” button.
  1. Choose “Import” then select “Next”.
  1. Go to the folder where you save the template. Select the template then select “Open”.
  1. A notification screen will appear. Select “Close”.
  1. On your Print Designer, go back to the document you choose. You will see that there is a new icon on your Available Templates which means that it’s a User Modified Document Template that’s because we made modifications to this template before.
  1. We have now successfully imported a template in our Print designer. It’s now ready to use.
