QuickBooks POS: How to fix Print Designer

Today we are going to talk about a problem you are experiencing with high resolution displays such as a 4k display and using the print designer in QuickBooks point of sale those two are not working very well together. Let’s begin: First, we will show an example of a problem in Print Designer.

  1. On your “File” menu, go to “Tools” select “Print Designer”.
  2. On your Document type choose “Inventory Tags”, and on your template choose “Intuit hang tag”. Then select “Modify”.
  1. Now if you will look at the Hang tag, it is not set up the way that it should be, all the fields are on the left side. The one that I box is the place where the barcode should be.

We will show you how to fix it.

  1. On your Desktop Home screen, right click on the screen then select “Display Settings”.
  1. On your Display settings, find “Resolution” then choose “1920 x 1080”.
  1. After you setup the display settings, go back to Print Designer.
  2. On your Document type choose “Inventory Tags”, and on your template choose “Intuit hang tag”. Then select “Modify”.
  1. Now you will see that everything is spread out the way that it should be.
