QuickBooks POS: Connect QuickBooks Payments

Today we’re going to hook up actual QuickBooks Payments account to QuickBooks Point of Sale.

*Recommended: Setup a call with our Intuit Merchant Rep to evaluate what you’re doing to give you slightly better rates.*

So Let’s Start with:

  1. Going to “File” → then click on “Setup Interview”.
  1. On the “Payment” tab, tick on “Yes” and click “Sign In”. (Note that it is recommended to have your account set up by our Merchant Rep.)

QuickBooks POS: Accept a Check Payment

Today we’re going to talk about how you can take a check payment in making a sale.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to “File” menu → then “Preferences” → then click “Company”.
  1. Under “Sales” section, click on “Receipt Tendering”. On the right side window, check the “Check” payment method. This is to enable your customers to pay through checks.
